Business Development Leader for DuPont Sustainable Solutions, DuPont Canada

Jonathan T. Reid is the Business Development Leader for DuPont Sustainable Solutions in Canada.

Mr. Reid joined DuPont Canada in July 2014 at the Calgary, Alberta, office after recently returning from overseas assignments in the United Kingdom and the Middle East.

Mr. Reid began working in the Calgary oil and gas industry in 1988 and worked for Norcen Energy, Amerada Hess, and Sproule & Associates until 1998, focusing primarily in reservoir engineering, reserves management, and evaluation of Canadian oil and gas assets.

In 1998, he joined Merak Projects, an oil and gas technology company, which was later acquired by Schlumberger.  Mr. Reid held various positions including Business Workflow Consultant, Consulting Manager, and large account Business Development Manager.  His role allowed him to work with companies and on projects in North and South America, Europe, Africa, and South East Asia.

In 2006, Mr. Reid joined Digitial Oilfield, another Calgary based oil and gas technology and service provider, as Director of Business Development.  He was responsible for market strategy to position technology solutions within the finance, contractor management, AFE management and drilling disciplines.

In 2007, Mr. Reid joined Halliburton as the Landmark Division Sales Manager, working in various roles such as Canada Area Manager, Territory Manager for the Southern Gulf Region, and New Business Manager for the United Kingdom.  Mr. Reid left Halliburton in 2012 to become an independent oil and gas business development consultant.

Mr. Reid holds a diploma in Engineering Science from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
