Benefits of Solumax® Soluble Granules
Many of the DuPont™ sulfonylurea (SU) herbicides are powered by Solumax® soluble granules, giving you all the convenience and benefits of a dry herbicide that works like a liquid.
Solumax® herbicides dissolve completely in water
Herbicides powered by Solumax® soluble granules dissolve completely in water, enable faster and easier sprayer cleanout, and deliver more consistent weed control.
Fast and easy sprayer cleanout
Solumax® will save you time and trouble with easier sprayer cleanout. Products powered by Solumax® fully dissolve into solution so less active adheres to the sides of the tank and particles won’t clog nozzles or become trapped in filters or other pinch points.
In tests, cleanout times were reduced by up to 70% of the time when compared to a DF herbicide.
- Tests show that herbicides powered by Solumax® soluble granule technology offer faster, easier and more consistent sprayer cleanout.
- Due to the improved solubility provided by Solumax® soluble granules, less water is required to thoroughly clean the tank.
- Because it is easier to remove product residue from the tank, the impact to subsequently sprayed crops is minimized.
More consistent weed control
When a herbicide powered by Solumax® is applied, the unique delivery system takes over, allowing the active ingredient to penetrate the weed more quickly. That makes more active ingredient available, limiting the impact of environmental variables on weed control. Solumax® increases the bioavailability of the active ingredient to the plant. The active is rapidly absorbed into the weed for fast, effective and consistent weed control.
Solumax dissolves completely in water
Equal amounts of herbicide are stirred into water – one is a dry flowable (DF) herbicide and the other is a Solumax® soluble granule (SG) herbicide. The DF herbicide is cloudy because its particles are in suspension. The product powered by Solumax® is completely dissolved into a clear solution.
