DuPont™ Ultim® herbicide is well-known for its outstanding control of annual grasses and quackgrass in field corn and black bullrush in lowbush blueberries.
Proven control of annual grasses and quackgrass: In Ontario, Quebec and Manitoba field corn, Ultim® controls barnyard grass, fall panicum, green foxtail, long-spined sandbur, old witchgrass, proso millet, quackgrass, redroot pigweed (including triazine-resistant bio-types) and yellow foxtail (suppression).
Wide window of application: Ultim® herbicide can be applied from the 1-leaf to 6-leaf stage of corn (4 visible collars or 30 cm in height – leaf extended). Apply Ultim® on field corn hybrids >2500 CHU and only when the temperature in the 24 hours before and after application ranges between 5°C and 28°C. Temperatures beyond this range increase the potential for crop response. Refer to the label for specific hybrid recommendations.
To control black bullrush in lowbush blueberries, apply one water soluble bag of Ultim® in 800 L of water per hectare.
One pouch treats 10 acres (4 ha). When using Ultim® in field corn or blueberries, add a registered non-ionic (NIS) such as Agral® 90 or Ag-Surf at 2 L per 1000 L of spray solution (0.2% v/v).
Agral® is a registered trademark of a Syngenta Group Company.
