Made with a unique nonwoven fiber structure and a vertically grooved surface, DuPont™ Tyvek® DrainWrap™ CA works behind claddings to channel bulk water away from the wall assembly while allowing water vapour to pass through. It also provides air resistance and structural durability during construction.
Tyvek® DrainWrap™ CA
A vertically grooved surface provides added protection against water by enhancing drainage away from the wall assembly. DuPont™ Tyvek® DrainWrap™ CA is a moisture barrier designed to provide enhanced drainage in areas subject to extreme, wind-driven rain. It combines the superior air and water resistance, vapour permeability, and strength of Tyvek® with a vertically grooved surface to help channel water safely to the outside.
