Located in Sunnyvale, California, the DuPont Silicon Valley Technology Center (SVTC) houses state-of-the-art applied engineering labs and an innovation center. It is strategically located in the SF Bay Area to engage with new and existing customers, engineers, startups, partners, and the venture capital community.
The SVTC is a dynamic hub where visitors can explore cutting-edge technical applications in consumer electronics, EV/HEV/autonomous vehicles, network enabling technologies, wearables, smart materials, and more. The Sunnyvale, CA site combines an Innovation Center, applications and prototyping labs, and customer meeting spaces under one roof, to foster collaboration that moves as fast as the surrounding Silicon Valley ecosystem.
The DuPont Silicon Valley Innovation Center is co-located in the DuPont SVTC. Visitors can experience the breadth of Dupont's material portfolio and meet with our staff of experts. Customers can connect with our local and global network of over 9,000 scientists, chemists, and engineers to learn about our vast material portfolio and how it can be used to solve their most pressing needs and problems.
The site also hosts various events, seminars and webinars available to the public focused on various topics such as OLED technologies, the semiconductor industry, advanced polymers and more.
The SVTC is home to ten applications engineering laboratories equipped with a wide range of fabrication and characterization capabilities. Our fabrication equipment enables rapid design and prototyping entirely in-house. The Labs are equipped to fit many Silicon Valley tech sectors’ needs, including rigid & flexible circuitry, next-generation displays, thermal management, printed electronics.
Our desire and responsibility to develop highly durable and reliable products has also led us to also outfit the labs with characterization instruments that support RF & signal integrity, mechanical, electrical, thermal, optical, and reliability applications, including a class 100 cleanroom.
