Chemical protection for those who protect us
Military and law enforcement personnel face some of the most unimaginable dangers—many of which can’t be seen. To help protect them against chemical and biological threats, Tyvek® and Tychem® offer a range of garments for chemical protection.
From the high-performance vapor protection, abrasion resistance and flame-impingement protection of NFPA 1991, through the chemical and biological protection of Class 2 ensembles certified to NFPA 1994, and the liquid splash protection of NFPA 1992, Tyvek® and Tychem® offer protective gear tailored to a host of different hazards.
These garments offer a range of chemical protection needed for situations such as initial entry, victim rescue, release mitigation, evidence collection, body removal, and site cleanup. Our certified garments are available in a variety of styles including Level A encapsulated suits, Level B coveralls, and an enhanced Level B suit that has been designed to provide increased liquid and vapor protection without encapsulation.

Specifically developed for protection against toxic chemicals, corrosive gases, liquids, and military warfare agents. Available in a variety of styles, including fully encapsulated suits.

Used extensively for demilitarization projects involving chemical warfare agents such as lewisite, mustard, tabun, sarin, soman and VX nerve agent.
Tychem® 6000 FR—Triple threat protection in one garment
Tychem® 6000 FR ThermoPro is a single layer, triple-threat protection garment designed for industrial workers, firefighters, emergency responders, military, and law enforcement personnel. ThermoPro combines the chemical protection of Tychem® fabric with the flame and arc flash protection of Nomex® in a single garment.
