Supporting holistic well-being in Asian Pacific
DuPont Asian Pacific region hosted three webinars in 2020 to help support employees’ mental and emotional health. Over 350 employees joined the webinars about living with change during COVID-19, emotional intelligence, and engaging in creative play with children.
To galvanize our workforce after months of dealing with the pandemic, DuPont China organized a Month of Caring for August 2020. Each week focused on a specific theme and held remote and in-person learning sessions on stress relief, meditation, energy management, and personal development. Over 500 participants across our 16 sites in China gained stress management techniques, participated in socially distanced and online meditation classes, learned healthy eating and drinking tips, and learned a framework for cultivating and maintaining a positive outlook.
All of the webinars received feedback ratings of 4.7 out of 5, reflecting that the content was highly useful.
Our site in Taipei held a walking competition in 2020. More than 70 employees took part in DKI Dayuan’s Walk@Workday activity at the nearby Wujiutong Mountain Footpath. Five employees emerged as winners, walking more than 490 miles. We also provided on-site physical check-ups and ergonomic consultation through the Month of Caring in August, and provided free flu vaccinations to 40 employees.
