Protected membrane (PMR) roofs
In a protected membrane – or inverted – roof, the insulation is placed on top of the waterproofing membrane and covered with gravel, pavers or soil. PMR roofs are ideal for green and blue roof designs. They lengthen roof life, contribute to sustainability and provide long-term cost savings.
Conventional roofs
In a conventional roof, the insulation lies under a protective membrane covering. Our conventional roof insulations and sealants provide long-term thermal performance and moisture resistance. Plus, the insulation often can be reused.
