DuPont has 14 global R&D Centers where labs perform vital research across all businesses and collaborate with partners, governments, and local communities.
Our center in Shanghai is DuPont’s primary center for product development, customer support, and materials testing in China, playing a crucial role locally and globally.
The CTC, as the China Research & Development Center is known, is at the heart of our research and innovation projects in China. It’s here that scientists and engineers provide process capability for polymer blending, part fabrication, and advanced manufacturing. The research at the CTC is used in photovoltaic, automotive, computer, communications, consumer electronics, and more.
DuPont announced the new R&D facility near Shanghai to support growth in Asia Pacific. The $15 million center would include laboratories, offices, and process bays for product applications and developments.
DuPont opened a photovoltaic technical center at the China Research & Development Center to support material developments for the fast-growing crystalline silicon PV solar-energy market.
