Classified as a water scarce country, Egypt has less than 1,000m3 of fresh water per year per capita - and with the population set to reach 115 million by 2025, the race is on to deliver adequate supplies to support such growth. A flexible, containerized treatment plant was designed using IntegraPac™ Ultrafiltration technology to produce high-quality potable water. The container-based scheme operates with a reduced footprint, delivering 5,000 m3 per day of drinking water to local residents in a sustainable and cost-effective way.
