Our Policy

A commitment to support small and diverse suppliers, ensuring our supply base reflects who we are, and the communities in which we live.

It is the policy of DuPont that our businesses include and support high-performing, small and diverse suppliers in their supply chains as a component of our global commitment to diversity and inclusion. Ensuring our supply base reflects our customers, employees and the communities where we live, and work is a key business strategy.  This policy is enabled by our Global Procurement team and implemented by our businesses.

Leadership Commitment

“Partnering with small and diverse businesses in the communities in which we live and work is more than check-the-box corporate responsibility at DuPont. Diversity, Equity, and inclusion (DE&I) is an integral piece of one of our core values, Respect for People. We believe in the power of diversity, both within our team and also with our suppliers. We are committed to strengthening our global community so that all voices can be heard and considered. We know that the more perspectives and experiences that are represented, the more opportunities there are for innovation. Beyond the strategic business aspect, DE&I is the right thing to do. We value our strategic relationships with suppliers and the significant role they play in assisting us to deliver on our purpose to empower the world with the essential innovations to thrive. I am proud of our long history of collaborating with suppliers that represent our global employee and customer base, and look forward to continuing to expand our diverse supplier network.”
