The big deal about seaweed
One of the most nutritious sources of trace elements and vitamins, some species contain more protein than meat and more calcium than milk.
Seaweeds are the biggest source of marine plant life that offsets carbon dioxide. An estimated 190 million tons each year.
Chocolate milk, ice cream, brownie mix, frozen foods, salad dressings, sauces, and gravy. Toothpaste, shampoos, paints, fertilizer, pet food, and lots, lots more.
Some seaweed, like kelp, can grow up to two feet a day. There are thousands of species, all with their unique lifecycle.
